Rouge is a new kind of French hop, with dry soft medium bitterness and very beautiful berry, raspberry flavors, as well as obvious spice, shaoling citrus and herb fragrance, very rich aroma.
Its aroma releases smoothly and quickly, and dry drying takes only one day to clear. In cloudy IPA, the aroma of raspberries, honeydew melon and dandelion is very persistent.
Rouge is commonly used in the brewing of Belgian Ales, amber beer, Pilsen, North French lager, Abbot, dark IPA and port, and is increasingly used in American IPA.
