Harald Brown (hereinafter referred to as Brown) is a male hop hybrid from cathcot and Hll of Germany. It is a homegrown variety developed by the German hop industry to cater to the demand for new flavors and aromas of craft beer. Launched in 2012.
Brown has a soft bitter, floral and delicate bouquet of white wine, with subtle notes of lemon, gooseberry and mango. Shows fresh melon and fruit aromas in Hop Pilson and Seson, can also be used as a heavy IPA complement to hop.
Brown's performance in traditional beer is comparable to that of traditional noble hop, and is the favorite German hop of American brewers.
