Idaho 7, or ID7 for short, is a rich, pineapple-flavoured hop found in the wild at Jackson Farm in Idaho and launched in 2015. D⑦ Has a very strong flavor of pineapple mango, but also has a clear resinous smell and faint taste of black tea, the main aroma is pineapple.
ID⑦ High hop oil content makes it ideal for cyclotron precipitation and dry casting processes. It can be used either as a single hop IPA or with other hops. ID is used for dry casting and can give a very typical juicy taste. In addition, ID7 performs brilliantly in American wheat beer.
Azaka, Eldrado, Idaho 7, are the three musketeers of turbid IPA, and they can be found in all award winning turbid IPAs.
