The German Green hop company, Green Products, is located in Oberumelsdorf, the core hop producing area of Germany, Haradao, which is certified by Siegenburg as a hop growing area. The region has fertile land and abundant water, providing a good environment for the production of top-grade hop.
Greenproduce's farm is a four-generation farm that grows pearl, brown, Haiculus, Bavarian tangerine, melon, opal, Calista and Ariana. Our hops are planted and picked under the guidance of professional staff, TUV Saarland(German testing and Certification Service Center) also pays close attention to the growth of hops and the whole production process.
The farm has advanced hop drying control system, can quickly dry the flowers. Next to the farm is a large modern hop plant, St. John's hop, which can be granulated in time. All our hops have received the German label of premium hop: DeutscherSiegelhopfen. Every variety, every batch number, pallet cartons and so on have relevant certification.
We will continue to work steadily with our Chinese partners to provide high quality hops to Chinese breweries.
Magnumen's name (German for magnum decanter) aptly captures the hop's massive cones. It was developed by the Hop Institute in Hull, Germany. The mother is An American variety, Grina Galena, and the father is a German hop numbered 75/5/3. It was put on the market in 1980.
Magnumen is a practical, high-formic hop that gives the beer a clean, soft bitterness, with hints of lemon, green pepper, mint, chocolate and apple in a balanced, well-rounded aroma. Magnum is a durable, inexpensive, ideal bitter flower for many beer styles.
