Our History:
Our winery was founded in 1890 by Gustave Eiffel, the designer of the Eiffel Tower. Now our chateau is one of the finest in the legal appellation of fine Bordeaux.
Beginning in 1812, a vineyard named Lafite appeared. Then we put the name of the vineyard into the name of the winery, and today we have Chateau Lafayette. High quality "terroir" endows the wine with unique temperament and excellent quality.

Brewing process:
A combination of manual and mechanical picking, traditional Bordeaux brewing process, temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The time of maceration in the fermenter is approximately 3 weeks from the time the grapes are placed in the fermenter to the time the skins are separated, depending on the daily tasting record. Some of the wine will be aged in storage tanks and some in French oak barrels for 12-16 months.

Our fermentation workshop was designed and built by Mr. Gustava - Eiffel, covering 1100 square meters.
Our wines:
The 2012 vintage, with its elegant deep red color, has a noble, comfortable and tranquil atmosphere. The nose is intense and intense, with aromas of plum, blueberry, vanilla and chocolate. The palate is full with red fruit aromas, acidity and astringency, and a light and appealing finish.
Our suggestions:
It is recommended to drink with red meat, barbecued meat and heavy flavor such as Sichuan cuisine. It has aging potential.
It should take 15-20 minutes to decant, and the wine tasting temperature should be 15-18℃.
